ROLE: Software QA Analyst & Tester

REQUIRED: Looking for an Automation Tester with relevant experience in writing VB scripts; not just recorded and performed play back. The tester should be able to understand the business logic of a test case and should be able to automate it efficiently using reusable functions. 4 – 8+ years of Manual and Automation Testing experince Responsibilities/Expected Deliverables include, but are not limited to: • Experience in quality center Development of new Manual and Automated Test Scripts • Maintenance of existing Manaual and Automated tests, including the ones that may be written by other testers. • Effectively and efficiently work with Test Team in order to aid in defining, planning, developing, executing, managing, and reporting of new development, maintenance, and support work. • Candidates must be able to work well in a team environment and should possess good communication skills. • Experience in Public Sector – Health and Human Services is a plus. • Development of new QTP automated tests. • Maintenance of existing automated tests, including the ones that may be written by other testers. • Effectively and efficiently work with Test Team in order to aid in defining, planning, developing, executing, managing, and reporting of new development, maintenance, and support work. • Create QTP Automation scripts to automate the CRUD (create, retrieve, update and delete) operations via SOAP Mind reef web services tool. • Candidates must be willing to put in some additional hours of work as necessary, to support project goals, especially during the peak testing timeframe. • Candidates must be able to work well in a team environment and should possess good communication skills. • Work proficiently, efficiently, and with full accountability for each assignment’s result while ensuring that the new automated tests facilitate in the completion of project goals. • Communicate effectively and persuasively with Development Teams regarding approaches and options in automated regression testing and defects management. • Testing experience in Public Sector – Health and Human Services is a plus. • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in IT/computer sciences, business, or communications.
